Process — materials and examinations
A series of visual articles that explore and examine my relationship to ceramics, creative practice and working.
On Dimple Pots
The dimple pots series represents an ongoing exploration of form, texture, and material, evolving through experimentation with techniques like copper glazing and the interplay of glossy and matte surfaces. Each pot, distinct yet cohesive, embodies a journey of discovery, reflecting the dynamic relationship between shape, surface, and the ceramicist’s ever-evolving practice.
The Experience of Ceramics
Ceramics is a deeply immersive art form, where the tactile and visual qualities of each piece create a meaningful connection with the viewer. My work, whether in wheel-thrown or sculptural forms, is a continuous exploration of the material’s possibilities, reflecting my dedication to innovation and expression through clay.
